The ALERT® version implemented at the emergency and inpatient services of Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation (TCRHCC) was upgraded on February 26, 2013.

TCRHCC has been using ALERT® since May 2010.
With ALERT®'s upgrade to v2.6.3 at the facility's emergency and inpatient services, users have access to new functionalities such as: changing patients (made easier and users can now work with multiple patients), availability of the shortcut button for all order entry areas, all buttons are now duly identified by icon and text, ability to confirm that test results have been read, easy access to ALERT® eLEARNING's Frequently Asked Questions, double clicks can be used as OK and profiles have been simplified in ALERT® INPATIENT.
Upgrades were also made to the ALERT® DATA WAREHOUSE (ADW) and ALERT® AUDIT TRAIL solutions and to the crisis machine.
These upgrades to ALERT's solutions for TCRHCC's emergency and inpatient services will benefit 700 ALERT® users, including physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, physiotherapists, registrars and radiology technicians.
TCRHCC, a Joint Commission accredited health center, provides services to a 4 400 square mile area and serves as a referral center for the western part of the Navajo and Hopi Reservations. Services provided by TCRHCC include an Inpatient unit with 37 beds, an Emergency Room that is open 24/7 and several clinical specialties.
This project aims at implementing the ALERT® PAPER FREE HOSPITAL solution for the creation of a paper-free environment in the abovementioned hospital and in the entire healthcare system of Tuba City.
