Another two ALERT® Go Lives at Clínica Girassol, Luanda, Angola

On July 15, 2014, phase II of the ALERT® EDIS implementation was completed at Clínica Girassol, Luanda, Angola.

This Go Live enabled the computerization of new administrative, clinical and financial processes of this important Angolan healthcare facility, as well as the use of the application by its professionals at the Emergency Services.


Additionally, phase I of the ALERT® OUTPATIENT implementation was achieved at this hospital on July 24 of the current year. This Go Live enabled the use of ALERT® SCHEDULER at its Outpatient Services. This solution allows for the operational management of clinical activity scheduling such as appointments, exams, surgeries, inpatient admissions, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation sessions, among other, at different management levels.


The ongoing implementation of ALERT® PAPER FREE HOSPITAL at Clínica Girassol is being performed by B2B Services and ALERT.


B2B Services and ALERT have allocated a multidisciplinary and specialized team to this project. This team is responsible for the project's planning and execution, and is also properly integrated with Clínica Girassol's team of (clinical and technical) professionals.


To date, the ALERT/B2B team of trainers has trained 397 Clínica Girassol professionals in ALERT® products, including the physician, nurse, healthcare technician, registrar and IT technician profiles.


Established in September 2008, Clínica Girassol is part of the Sonangol Group. With a total capacity of 229 beds, this facility is dedicated to providing a service of excellence with international quality standards. The facility endeavors to be a training center that disseminates knowledge, which will provide the country with a physical and technological infrastructure with highly qualified professionals.
