ALERT® INPATIENT and ALERT® OUTPATIENT went live on November 18, 2014, at the Oncological Medicine Center and at the Medical and Surgical Unit, respectively, of Carouge Clinic, in Geneva, Switzerland.

For this Go Live, 62 professionals, among them physicians, nurses, ancillaries and registrars, were trained.

The Oncological Medicine Center was specially adapted to the needs of oncological patients. The center now uses ALERT® OUTPATIENT for its outpatient appointments and treatments' services. Additionally, this unit offers inpatient services. The oncological medicine specialty uses an interdisciplinary collaboration approach: oncology, hematology, genetics, pediatrics, immunology, etc.

The clinic's Medical and Surgical Unit was totally refurbished in 2006, is at the forefront of technology and offers all types of specialized surgery. This unit works in close collaboration with the other units of the clinic and integrates a multidisciplinary team that now benefits from the ALERT® solution for inpatient services.

This Go Live is part of the La Tour Réseau de Soins SA project, which is the most important private hospital in Geneva. This institution integrates three facilities: La Tour Hospital, Carouge Clinic and Meyrin Medical Center.

Established in 1972, the Carouge Clinic is constantly upgrading and modernizing its services. This allows the facility to offer high quality care and its emergency department welcomes all walk-in patients 24/7.
