ALERT participated in the IHE North America Connectathon 2014, which took place in January 27-31, 2014, at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago, United States.

All the ALERT® solutions tested at the event were successfully validated: ALERT® EMR, ALERT® HIE, MyALERT® and ALERT® PDMS. More than 200 tests were performed with 43 different companies in 5 domains.

ALERT passed the new implemented profiles/actors and also confirmed the compliancy with profiles tested in previous years. The validated solutions include new integration profiles such as: Health Story Project – Continuity of Care Document, XDM – Cross-Enterprise Document Media Interchange, XDR – Cross-Enterprise Document Reliable Interchange, XCPD – Cross Community Patient Discovery and IPEC – Infusion Pump Event Communication.

The IHE Connectathon 2014 has also enabled ALERT to prepare for the HIMSS14 Interoperability Showcase in which the ALERT® solutions will once again be demonstrated.

IHE provides a detailed implementation and testing process to promote the adoption of standard-based interoperability by vendors and users of healthcare information systems. ALERT has been taking part in the IHE American and European Connectathon editions since 2006.
