ALERT is proud to announce its first ALERT® STUDENT contract in Brazil with the Santa Casa da Misericórdia Science University of Vitória.

The ceremony for the contract signature took place on December 8, 2010 at the Vitória Radisson Hotel. Aureliano Nogueira da Costa, President of the Foundation for Research Support, was among the people present at the ceremony.

ALERT® STUDENT is a tool for the research, learning and teaching of health sciences, which promotes the construction of a collaborative knowledge network between students, lecturers and physicians.

“The company aims at contributing towards the quality of the state and private healthcare system in the educational and professional scope. ALERT's view for the sector's future is a scenario where all university level educational institutions are interconnected and share information in the same manner as hospitals and healthcare facilities," Luiz Brescia, Managing Director of ALERT Brazil, commented.

ALERT® STUDENT is used at the Pontifícia Universidad Católica in Chile, at the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo Leon in Mexico and at the Faculty of Medicine of Porto University in Portugal.
