ALERT participated successfully in another edition of the Annual HIMSS Conference & Exhibition in New Orleans, which took place between March 4 and 6, 2013.

HIMSS is the largest healthcare information technology (IT) conference in the United States. This event's 2013 edition was a success, having attracted around 35 000 visitors, 13 985 of which were professionals, and hosted 1 158 participating companies.

The approached topics in this year's edition were of great interest for the IT healthcare industry of today: leadership, the value of IT, the healthcare reform and the move from a very stationary, big technology to a very small and agile mobile technology. Case studies were also presented and best practices in healthcare were discussed.

ALERT's booth welcomed delegations from all over the world and the ALERT® product suite created a great interest among visitors. The company considers its participation in this exhibition as a success.

Additionally, ALERT participated in the HIMSS Interoperability Showcase and ALERT® demonstrated, once again, its capacity to interoperate with other systems.

HIMSS is a cause-based, not-for-profit organization exclusively focused on providing global leadership for the optimal use of IT and management systems for the betterment of healthcare.
